Fashion designer and humanitarian

South African couturier and humanitarian activist, Gavin Rajah is the only fashion designer in the world to be a UNICEF Goodwill Ambassador. He is a founder of Cape Town Fashion Week and was the first South African ever to be invited to show his collection at the Paris Fashion Week Couture.

Gavin’s designs are eclectic creations of gilded glamour with a cutting-edge style, distinctly feminine in flow and texture, and special attention to the silhouette. His collection has been distributed at some of the most fashionable stores in the world and has been featured in internationally renowned media including Vogue, BBC, and America’s Next Top Model with Tyra Banks, which is currently showing on South African screens.

Gavin is a true ambassador of South African fashion and is testimony that the country is fast becoming a force to be reckoned with in International fashion circles, especially with him clothing icons such as Naomi Campbell, Tina Turner and Nelson Mandela. Gavin’s input into the South African fashion industry is invaluable and respected and paves the way for great things to come in terms of pioneering a new level of international standard.
